  • Sym Serum is a multifunctional brightening and regenerating serum, packed with rare and powerful active ingredients that target various skin concerns.

⭐️ Its star ingredient is Human Tooth Pulp Stem Cell Conditioned Media, containing a high concentration of EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor).

Stem cell culture medium derived from tooth pulp is known for its abundance in growth factors, including EGF, FGF, and IGF. Notably, the concentration of EGF in dental pulp stem cell secretion is believed to be higher compared to other sources. This is due to EGF's release from the dental pulp and transportation to the stomach via saliva. Once in the stomach, EGF interacts with the acidic environment, triggering regeneration signals on the stomach's surface, effectively protecting it.

Sym Serum harnesses the regenerative power of Tooth Pulp Stem Cell Culture Media to work wonders on the epidermis—the outermost layer of the skin. By doing so, it helps to reinforce the skin's barrier function and maintain a radiant complexion.

In addition to the EGF found in the dental stem cell culture media, this serum incorporates pharmaceutical-grade synthesized EGF encapsulated in liposomes. These liposomes enable the EGF to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, enhancing the serum's effectiveness.

Sym Serum's potent blend of active ingredients is encapsulated in liposomal capsules, ensuring optimal absorption and efficacy. Key components include:

    • Symwhite 377 (Phenylethyl Resorcinol): A plant-based compound with a structure similar to hydroquinone, a popular skin brightening medication. Unlike hydroquinone, which can cause harsh side effects, Symwhite 377 offers a gentler approach without any reactions, addressing dark spots and uneven skin tone.

    • Umbilical Cord and Placenta Extracts: Rich in polysaccharides, these extracts work synergistically with the stem cell culture medium to nourish and revitalize the skin.

    • Fullerenes: A recent skincare innovation and powerful antioxidant, Fullerenes in high concentration further enhance the serum's anti-aging properties, protecting the skin from environmental stressors and promoting youthful radiance.

As a supporting ingredient, the serum features an exclusive ingredient: specially cultivated, hand-picked, and fermented rose water from the Palace of Versailles. This organic rose water, nurtured in the exquisite gardens of the Palace, offers nourishing and refining benefits to the skin, leaving it revitalized and radiant.

  • Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, currently, I am the only esthetician and I only have one treatment room. While I want to see as many of you as possible, I usually get fully booked weeks in advance, so please make sure to make an appointment before coming in to see me. Thank you!
  • How many treatments can be provided at the same time?
I'm the only esthetician at the salon, and we have a single treatment room, so it's not possible for me to provide multiple treatments at the same time. However, if you'd like to come in with a friend or partner for a spa day, I can offer back-to-back facials to accommodate both of you.
  • Is there a waiting room?
I don't have a separate waiting room, but I have a table and chairs outside the treatment room where you can wait comfortably if you arrive early or if your friend or partner is receiving a treatment first.
  • What public transportation can I take to your salon?
My salon is conveniently located near several public transportation options (Omotesando, Harajuku and Jingumae Stations) You can take the Tokyo Metro subway (Chiyoda, Ginza or Hanzomon Line), get off at Omotesando Station, and take the A1 exit, which is a 8min walk from the salon. • Which facial should I choose?
I offer 60min, 90min and 120min customized facials. For the first facial at my salon, I typically recommend the 90min option to address all of your skin concerns, but the choice is ultimately up to you. Regardless of the facial you choose, each treatment is tailored to your unique skin type and concerns. The difference between each treatment can vary based on your skin, but in general, longer facials include additional modalities (such as LED light therapy, EMS microcurrent, Electroporation, Iontophoresis), as well as longer massages for extra relaxation and lifting. I am dedicated to providing personalized care and ensuring that you receive the best possible results from your facial treatment. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask me at the time of booking. I am also happy to discuss your specific needs during your initial consultation.
  • What are included in your facial?
All of my treatments are tailored to each client's unique skin type and concerns, so no two treatments are exactly the same. However, to give you an idea of what a typical treatment might include, here's a general outline: Cleansing Exfoliation Extraction Peel LED light therapy (to heal and stimulate collagen production) EMS microcurrent (for lifting and releasing muscle tension) Electroporation (to increase serum absorption) Relaxing and lifting massages Soothing Mask Gua sha stone massage Décolleté and Scalp massages Each of these steps is customized to meet the individual needs of the client, and the specific techniques and products used may vary from one treatment to the next.
  • How long do facial treatments take?
I offer 60-minute, 90-minute, and 120-minute customized facials. These timeframes refer to the duration of the actual facial treatment itself. Please note that your visit takes longer than the facial length due to additional time needed for consultation and changing into the robe. Allow for approximately 15 minutes extra to account for these additional processes. You can arrive right at the appointment time.
  • Can I receive a facial if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes, pregnant or breastfeeding women can safely receive a facial at my salon. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please let me know when booking your appointment so that I can ensure the proper care and safety.
  • Do you perform extraction?
Extraction is an important part my facial treatments. While most skin can benefit from extraction, my goal is always to properly assess each client's skin and customize the treatment, so if extraction is not necessary or if you prefer to omit it, I will adjust the treatment to address other concerns to achieve the best results.
  • What is LED light therapy?
LED red light therapy energizes skin cells, stimulates collagen production, while reducing inflammation and leaving your skin soft, plump and brighter. This technology was originally invented by NASA in the 1980s to grow plants on space shuttles. They later discovered that these lights offer healing properties to our skin as well. The LED panel I use has 1800 LEDs (deep red, 660nm wavelength) which provide anti-aging benefits. Many research studies show human cells respond best to red light in this specific wavelength.
  • What is EMS?
In essence, EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) is a facial workout! It is a form of microcurrent therapy that uses low-level electrical currents to stimulate facial muscles. By targeting specific muscles in the face, EMS can help lift and firm the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and sagging. In addition, EMS can help improve overall skin health by increasing blood circulation and lymphatic flow, as well as releasing muscle tension.
